Bob Marley-Cool singer

When I hear this song, I used to get on dancing movement. I just love the melody of this song, music is great. This is a song sang by the my favorite artist Bob Marley. I am great fan of boy Marley because when I don’t know about English music at my childhood, the wording of bob marleys’ music used to catch my attention a lot. He is a slow singer and it makes me easy to catch his song.

Bob Marley is a popular name of Robert Nesta Marley. He was born in February 6, 1945 Nine Miles, Saint Ann, Jamaica. He is a singer, song writer and guitarist of Jamaica. Most of his songs deals with struggle of the impoverished and powerless.

Bob Marley started his musical carrier by formation of ska and rocksteady group with Bunny livington, Peter Mclntosh, Junior Braithwaithe, Beverly kelso, and Cherry Smith. Later on they changed the name to ‘The Wailers”. Coxsone Dodd and Studio One is the producer of the most of the wailers songs including their first single Simmer Down, which made “the wailer” hottest groups in the country. Soul Rebel and 400 years are the popular songs in that time, present in Simmer Down. The Wailers first album, “Catch A fire” was worldwide released on 1973. “Bumin” which included the song “Get Up Stand Up”, “I shot the Sheriff” followed it in 1974 which raised Marley’s international profile.

After that time Bob Marley release many albums. In 1975, No wan no cry song of Natty Dread album had international breakthrough with first hit outside Jamaica. Many great albums and many great songs were then written and sang by Bob Marley. The song recorded on 1980, “Buffalo soldier”, which is unreleased was released on 1983 on Confrontation album.

Bob Marley is half a white (from his father Norval Sinclair Marley, a white Jamaican of English descent) and half a black (from his mother Cedella Booker, a black Jamaican) origin. He suffered racial prejudice as a youth because of his mixed racial origin. He was forced to learn self-defense because he is target of bullying due to racial makeup and small stature (5’4”). He was named “Tuff Gong” because of his physical strength. He married Rita Anderson, in 1966, who performs as back up singer with Bob Marley. After marrying with her he was devoted to Rastafarian religion and he served as missionary for the faith. In 1977, Bob Marley was diagnosed of Cancer, a malignant cancer of skin, which grew on his right big toe. He was asked to amputate the toe, but because of his faith on Rastafarian he did not amputate it. The state of cancer was hidden from the public. The cancer spread on to his brain, stomach, and his lungs. In 1980, while tour on summer trying to break US market he collapsed jogging On NYC’s central park. Then he tried to return to Jamaica from the tour. On the flight he became too ill and had to land on Miami. He passed away at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Miami, Florida on May 11, 1981.

Bob Marley is popular mostly among the people who smoke Marijuana as he himself smokes Marijuana.
